Investor, Chairman of the Board
Senior Vice President, Global Clients at Publicis Groupe
Chris Foster is Chairman of The Next Practice, the New York marketing group he has led since 2020, and Founder and CEO of FosterEquity. He joined the in/PACT Board of Directors in 2026.
Chris spent more than two decades in the operating seats of global marketing. As Worldwide Chief Operating Officer of Saatchi & Saatchi he was responsible for the performance and operations of its major business units across the Americas, the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and for its most significant global client relationships. He was previously Chairman and Regional CEO for Asia Pacific and Greater China, part of a Saatchi & Saatchi career that ran from 1999 to 2015 and included a seat on the Global Leadership Team. He went on to lead global clients for Publicis Groupe from Paris and Y&R's Asia business from Singapore. Earlier he was CEO of Fallon in Minneapolis, where he grew revenue 75% through the financial crisis.
A Cannes Lions Grand Prix winner, Chris spent nine years as Global Equity Director on Procter & Gamble brands including Tide, Ariel, Cascade, Dash and Ajax, with deep work on Olay and Pampers across both long-term brand position and near-term execution.
He writes and speaks on marketing, AI and growth, has appeared on Bloomberg and CNBC and in Newsweek and CBS News, and hosts the podcast A Punch Above. His argument is that the ideas that move people are the ideas that are giving. He calls it Brand Generosity, and he treats it as a growth strategy rather than a philosophy.
