Picking Purpose at the NFL Draft

The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us.

That means, starting today, hundreds of thousands of football fans will flock to Philadelphia to watch their favorite college athletes officially turn pro. Last year, the NFL Draft Experience saw over 225,000 visitors over the long weekend. And this year, with the Draft being held outside in an open-air theater for the first time ever, Philadelphia is expecting to see the largest live audience in history to view the team selections.

But that’s not all that’s new this year. For the first time ever, in/PACT is excited to partner with Bud Light to allow NFL Draft Experience attendees to give back to their favorite local Philly causes, simply by enjoying a beer with friends.

Over the entire three days of the Draft, Bud Light will be donating $5 to your favorite of three Philly-based causes every time you buy a Bud Light at the Bud Light tent. With each purchase, customers will receive a coaster with the #BudLightGives URL and a unique retrieval code. Each attendee can participate once per day every day, allowing them to send up to $15 to their cause of choice. We'll drink to that.

Help us make the 2017 NFL Draft the most giving Draft in history through #BudLightGives. Learn more about our three featured causes below, and don’t forget to stop by the Bud Light tent every day of the Draft to participate!

TEAM Coalition:

At TEAM Coalition, we are huge fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Draft and the NFL game day experience! We are committed to celebrate every runback for touchdown, every pick-6 and every last-second, game-winning field goal with a cold beer and a safe ride home. You can help prevent drunk driving by donating to TEAM Coalition, where we reward fans for making responsible decisions, like always choosing to have a designated driver.

Project HOME:

You can help make a difference and be part of the solution to end and prevent chronic street homelessness in Philadelphia! The mission of the Project HOME community is to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, and to enable everyone to attain their fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society.  This mission is achieved through a continuum of services comprised of street outreach, a range of supportive housing, and comprehensive services.

Delaware Estuary:

Beer is more than 90% water, and we work to keep that water clean. How do we do it? We lead the annual Schuylkill Scrub. This spares Philly’s drinking water from over 500,000 pounds of trash, and that’s just for warm-ups. Put us in, coach!  The Partnership for the Delaware Estuary is a nonprofit organization that brings people, businesses, and governments into the huddle. Together we restore and defend waterways flowing into the Delaware River and Bay. PDE focuses programs and scientific research on the entire environment affecting the Estuary from Trenton, NJ to Philadelphia, PA to Lewes, DE. We encourage teamwork among greater Philadelphia's many environmental players. Together, we have a game plan for practical solutions to help restore the natural vitality of the Delaware River and Bay on which plants, wildlife, people and businesses rely.
